• DOH (2018) will “support implementation of initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for people living in care home such as My Home Life” (press release by Permanent Secretary)  ​
  • The MHL programme contributed to Ulster University’s submission of top Impact Case Studies for UoA 3 (Allied Health Professions, Dentistry, Nursing and Pharmacy) in the Research Excellence Framework, 95% of which were rated as internationally excellent or world leading.
  • Between 2020 and 2022, MHL was cited as an example of good practice and a catalyst for change in five of the six evidence reports from the independent review by CPEA into safeguarding and care at the former Dunmurry Manor care home.​
  • Currently in Year 4 of a 5-year regional implementation programme funded by the DOH.
  • Recommendation in the ‘Reform of Adult Social Care Northern Ireland Consultation Document’ (DoH, 2022) to implement the My Home Life’ Leadership Support and Quality Improvement Programme in care homes across Northern Ireland. ​
