In June 2023, our cohorts were invited to a celebration event at the Europa Hotel, Belfast.
The MHL (NI) Celebration Ceremony Day took place on Tuesday 27th June 2023 at the Europa Hotel, Belfast. 67 care home leaders from 54 care settings across Northern Ireland took part in the 2022/23 MHL Leadership Support Programme.
Participants of the MHL Leadership Support Programme ranged from responsible individuals, care home managers and deputies, nurse managers and deputies, senior carers, clinical leads and many other rising stars. Participants' experience of working within the care sector ranged extensively from between 1-3 years to over 30 years+.
The Celebration Ceremony Day is an essential part of the MHL Leadership Support Programme as it enables all participants/cohorts to come together for a day of celebration, reflection and shared learning.
During the day, each cohort was able to share details of their Quality Improvement Project, highlighting both their learning and achievements. In addition, participants were able to express how the Programme had impacted upon them personally and as a group. Details of each cohort's QI project are detailed below.
All participants received their own MHL Certificate and were formally welcomed as an 'MHL Associate'.
